Travel Nurse RN - Hospice - $2,319 per week in Lawrence, MA

Job Title: RN Hospice Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR and BLS Must-Have: Proficient in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and Oasis. Recent specialty experience is required. Description: Provides coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures. Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Reports to Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits are required. Must have reliable transportation and current driver's license. Agency-required liability insurance is also necessary. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Contractor must hit weekly productivity points of 30, which equates to 40 hours per week. Delays and incomplete documentation will impact billing and follow-up patient care. All travelers must be proficient in HCHB and must have used it within the last 6 months, or complete a retraining course during compliance. Travelers must be open to on-call rotations and may be assigned to nearby clinics to pick up patients if needed. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
