Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Brooklyn, NY. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical ICU setting, with the flexibility to float to other units such as Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical Surgical (Med Surg) when required. The role requires availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays, ensuring comprehensive coverage and patient safety.

Job Details

  • Shift: Nights; 11.5 hours per shift; minimum of 34.5 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Should be willing to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical Surgical (Med Surg) units when needed. Must be available for holidays and every other weekend shift.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: This role necessitates a strong bedside manner and the ability to adapt swiftly to different acuity levels within the hospital units.
