Job Details:
Location: Rhinelander, WI
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license; AHA (American Heart Association) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; 2+ years ICU experience; prior critical access or rural experience highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Float: Float to alike units within the skill set; float to other Aspirus locations within a 40-mile radius, including Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River. Float scheduling will be pre-arranged if needed.
Additional Information: Charting experience with EPIC system preferred but not required. The unit maintains a 1:2 patient ratio. During flu season, staff declining vaccination must wear a mask at all times, per policy. The contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
On Call/Call Back: May be low censused and put on call; minimum call back of 2 hours.
Submission Requirements: Clinical interview.
Vaccinations: Flu and COVID vaccines are required.
Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday.
