ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Assignment Dates: September 22, 2026 – September 22, 2027
• Schedule Requirement: Work at least one shift per month to remain active in the per diem pool
• Orientation: Weekday availability required for onboarding and orientation
• Work Setting: On-site hospital ICU

ICU RN Job Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of professional RN experience
• At least 1 year of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
• Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and clinical nursing skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet per diem scheduling requirements
• Availability to complete orientation during the Monday–Friday workweek
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and recognize changes in condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Monitor patients, interpret clinical data, and promptly communicate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
• Support a safe patient environment and uphold high standards of quality critical care
