Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: 2601 Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11235
Facility: South Brooklyn Health (Coney Island)
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Shift: Nights – 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week travel assignment at South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and be proficient in conscious sedation, IV insertion, and phlebotomy while providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered.
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures.
• Assist with and monitor patients receiving conscious sedation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.

• Active New York State RN License
• Primary Source Verification of RN License (NYSED)
• 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience
• 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience
• 2 years of IV Insertion experience
• 2 years of Phlebotomy experience
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
