Travel Nurse RN - Infusion - $1,947 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Job Title: RN - Infusion Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (Monday - Friday, 8:10 AM - 5:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an oncology/infusion setting License: Required Certifications: BLS, Chemo/Bio certification required Must-Have: - Administration of anti-neoplastic agents - Port access - IV start skills - Knowledge of chemotherapy/immunotherapy side effects and management Description: This role involves working in a Hematology and Oncology Outpatient Clinic. The facility features both infusion areas and provider/exam rooms. This unit has a total of 60 infusion chairs and sees an average of 125 patients per day. Patient ratios will depend on the assigned pod, but will never exceed 1:4. The patient population includes all types of cancer patients, primarily adults. Support within the department includes leadership, other RNs, LPNs, MAs, MDs, as well as lab and radiology services on site. The technology and equipment in use include EMR systems. There is a team-oriented culture within the unit.
