Travel Nurse RN - Infusion - $2,382 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Infusion RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (10:00 - 18:30) Experience: 2 years required, 1 previous travel assignment required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, OCN, current chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card Must-Have: - Ability to administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments - Experience accessing and managing ports - Experience with central line and implanted line care - Experience in starting and maintaining IVs Description: The Infusion RN will work in an oncology infusion center. This position requires administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. Candidates must possess a current chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card. The role will involve caring for oncology patients with various diagnoses, including solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Daily responsibilities include managing patient care and maintaining patient safety. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. No weekends or holidays are required for this position. Patient ratios may vary, but the RN should be prepared for a busy environment. Interdisciplinary support services are available within the unit.
