Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,603 per week in Dallas, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience License: Active RN license required. Temporary license will not be accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred Must-Have: - 2 years ICU experience - BLS - ACLS Description: Please read carefully. This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 16 beds with an estimated patient ratio of 1:2. Assignments will be based on patient acuity and staff skills. All standard ICU equipment is utilized, including ventilators and cardiac output monitors. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with shifts scheduled a month in advance. Floating to other units may be necessary as needed. Candidates must have experience with central line placements and other bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and intubations. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for a surgical population, particularly oncology patients. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Nails must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails. Hair should be neat and clean, without extreme styles or colors. Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Attendance policies will be adhered to consistently.
