Must-Have: LTAC experience preferred
Description:
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
Night shift work consists of 3 shifts each week.
Guaranteed hours may vary from 36 to 48 hours per week.
BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.
LTAC experience is preferred.
Experience with Epic charting system is required.
Charge experience is preferred.
Patient care will involve managing a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
Staff will provide care for adult and geriatric patients.
The ICU unit accommodates a maximum of 12 beds.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed.
The daily census in the unit is approximately 35 patients.
Staff is expected to perform a range of clinical skills, including IV management and wound care.
Additional responsibilities include supporting patients with complex medical needs such as ventilator care and tracheostomy management.
Work hours include nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity setting.
