Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,002 per week in Dallas, TX

The unit has 10 beds and requires a staff of 4. There will be 1 charge nurse and RNs according to patient census. No techs are available on the night shift. The patient ratio will be 2:1. Typical equipment includes ventilators, CRRT, A-lines, BiPAP, Flow-track, and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. The ideal candidate will provide total care for critically ill patients. Responsibilities include turning patients, titrating drips, dressing changes, and tracheostomy care. Candidates with CRRT experience and transplant experience (kidney, pancreas, liver) are preferred. The best personality fit includes being compassionate, working well with others, and having good rapport with physicians. Rotating weekends are included in the schedule. The position may require floating to all ICUs and PCUs. The dress code is blue scrubs.
