Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel- Provide comprehensive care for patients in the MICU/MSICU
- Utilize all ICU equipment, including ventilators, NXStage, and Arctic Sun
- Perform procedures such as central line placements and bedside procedures like thoracentesis
- Maintain accurate patient records in the Meditech documentation system
- Adapt to floating as needed and manage assignments based on acuity and skills
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel- Active RN TX license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience
- Experience with central line placements and other ICU procedures
- CCRN and familiarity with Meditech preferred
