Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Profession: Nursing

Duration: 22 to 26-week contract
Shift: Full Time, Day/Night
Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7a-7p / 7p-7a)
Experience: Minimum years of experience required
License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire
TNCC certification recommended within 2 years of hire
Must-Have:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Computer literacy
Description:
This position requires the ability to provide care in an intensive care setting.
The staff member must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development throughout the life span.
An understanding of how to assess data reflective of the patient's status is essential.
It is important to interpret the necessary information to identify each patient's requirements.
The role involves providing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
Customer focus is critical, emphasizing professional behavior and effective communication.
The individual will promote safety and respect within the patient environment.
Teamwork should be enhanced through effective role modeling and support.
