  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks

  • Schedule: 3×12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay:$2200 to $2400
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit
  • Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological status, respiratory function, and hemodynamic stability
  • Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
  • Operate and monitor advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and CRRT equipment as needed
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly to emergencies and code situations
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge planning when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while advocating for patients and their families
Requirements
  • Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Current ACLS Certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ventilator management, critical care protocols, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
  • Experience caring for high-acuity medical and surgical ICU patients
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication, assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced critical care environment
