TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years in critical care License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required - AHA Only Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.). Telemetry test required prior to starting. Basic Arrhythmia experience is necessary. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced critical care environment. The role will involve working three 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and some holidays. Experience in various ICU specialties is essential. Candidates must be able to float to different ICU settings as needed. Applicants must be competent in managing high-acuity patient populations. Responsibilities include administering emergency medications and managing specialized equipment. This is an academic learning environment where the candidate will have the opportunity to grow their career. The position requires engagement in shared governance and interdisciplinary support. Candidates should have skills in various areas including ventilator management, central line management, and patient assessment. Ability to work autonomously while providing high-quality patient care is crucial. Travel and flexibility to change units will be needed throughout the assignment.
