Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,600 to $2,800 per week in Redding, CA

• Position: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Location: Redding
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2600 to $2800

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical, surgical, neurological, and cardiac conditions
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, vasoactive medications, and other prescribed critical care treatments
• Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Recognize and respond rapidly to medical emergencies, code situations, and changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilization, and advanced life support interventions
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and ICU quality standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and families during critical illness

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Current ACLS Certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, telemetry interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care medications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
