Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,654 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years ICU experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NIHSS Must-Have: Cerner experience Description: The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit providing care for patients with various medical needs. Patients include those with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions. Various types of technology are utilized to care for and treat critical care patients. This technology includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps. The role fulfills the needs of patients and families by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. All candidates must be available to start within 7 days of offer. No pushed starts are allowed. All compliance items must be provided to start on the assignment.
