Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing

Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required
Strong CRRT skills are required
License:
Wisconsin License or Compact License must be obtained during compliance
Certifications:
BLS and ACLS certifications must be in hand at the time of submission
NIHSS certification is required but can be pending at the time of submission
Must-Have:
Candidates must include two supervisor references within the last year
One reference must be from the most recent/current assignment
One reference must be from the second most recent assignment
Description:
This position requires a night shift working 4x12 hour rotations.
Candidates will float to IMCU (stepdown) if needed.
A video interview will be required depending on candidate eligibility for the position.
The following skills are essential: accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, arterial line management, and chest tube insertion/removal.
Candidates should have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients.
Additional required skills include: central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, cardiac surgery recovery, and neuro surgery management.
Monitoring skills should include CVP monitoring, infection prevention, and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
Candidates must demonstrate competency in ventilator management and management of dysrhythmias.
Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring is also required.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE is mandatory.
Candidates will be responsible for starting and maintaining IVs, as well as conducting phlebotomy.
Familiarity with charting systems is preferred, and experience with specified patient care equipment is advantageous.
This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
All submissions should meet compliance regulations during the onboarding process.
