Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $70 to $76 per hour in Redding, CA

Location: Redding, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to trauma, neuro, and post-surgical ICU patients
• Manage ICP monitoring and ventriculostomies
• Titrate vasopressors and sedation drips as needed
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to code situations
• Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary team
• Float to PCU, CICU, or telemetry as required

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of ICU experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Must pass a proctored dysrhythmia test on day one

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ICP monitoring and ventriculostomy management
• Proficient in vasopressor and sedation titration
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
