Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU, Nights

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients, ensuring appropriate respiratory support and interventions
- Administer and titrate vasoactive drips in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama RN license or active Multistate (Compact) RN license in good standing (no prior NURSYS hits)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience managing ventilated patients and vasoactive drips
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
