Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and an average daily census of 44
Deliver high-acuity nursing care during night shift hours, maintaining patient safety and clinical standards throughout each shift
Participate in every-other-weekend coverage as part of standard scheduling expectations
Be available to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation
In the event of an emergency, be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team as directed by unit management until the event has passed
Complete required facility modules during orientation, which are factored into orientation hours
Required Qualifications
Active Compact or Louisiana RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU specialty required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS — AHA-issued certifications required
NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current (within 4 weeks of submission date)
2 Manager or Supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RN references are not acceptable); references must be submitted in PDF format
Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on the driver's license to the facility address) to be eligible
