Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in San Diego, CA

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting across night shifts
• May be required to float at or below skillset to like units or lower acuity units across multiple campuses as needed (excluding the ED)
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
• Complete assigned non-billable training modules by the designated Friday deadline following the document due date
• Maintain compliance with all facility and travel assignment policies throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License in hand at time of submission (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in ICU specialty
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off; no new RTO requests after submission
• One supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
• Valid copies of all required certifications (including Nursys verification for RNs) must be submitted with application

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or health system locations
• Familiarity with ICU, SDU, and Telemetry care settings
• Interview availability same day and within the next 3 business days (please note time zone when submitting)
