Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed ICU (medical and cardiovascular) setting with acuity-based ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU-level patients and 1:3–4 for PCU-level patients
• Manage complex diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, stroke post-TNK administration, CRRT, IABP, Impella, PA catheters, and post-cardiac arrest patients on Arctic Sun
• Titrate ICU drips including sedation, vasoactive medications, and paralytics
• Set up, manage, and independently interpret telemetry monitors and rhythm strips
• Provide recovery care for immediate post-open heart surgery patients and overflow from the cath lab and post-surgical cases
• Float as needed between critical care floors or to the ER for patient holds; rotate holidays with permanent staff and expect weekend assignments, particularly Sundays

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CRRN or PCCN certification preferred
• Specialty skills in Swan-Ganz catheter management, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, and immediate open heart recovery
• Experience with Epic EMR within the past year (may allow testing out of Epic training modules)
• Flexible, team-player mentality with the ability to adapt to scheduling needs
