Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Southampton, NY

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collect and report critical patient data and lab/diagnostic values to the physician in a timely manner, documenting all physical assessment findings.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and perform interventions in accordance with hospital policy.
• Advocate on behalf of patients and their families while maintaining open communication with nursing management and interdisciplinary staff.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and demonstrate a professional demeanor in all interactions with patients, families, peers, and staff.
• Float to additional units as needed, including CCU and Emergency Department.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU and Emergency Department experience.
• Current BLS provider certification (American Heart Association).
• Current ACLS provider certification (American Heart Association).
• Current PALS provider certification (American Heart Association).
• Current TNCC, NIHSS Certification, and Moderate Sedation Certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to float comfortably across critical care and emergency settings.
