    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Level 3, Nights)

    Location

    Southampton, NY

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Use the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
    • Collect and report critical values to the physician in a timely manner and assess appropriate lab and diagnostic data.
    • Document findings of physical assessments, identify abnormal findings, and develop individualized plans of care based on patient need.
    • Advocate on behalf of patients and their families while maintaining open communication with nursing management.
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and demonstrate a professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, peers, and staff.
    • Float to additional units as needed, including CCU and Emergency Department.
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
    • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and Emergency Department experience.
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications from the American Heart Association.
    • Current TNCC certification.
    • NIHSS and Moderate Sedation certifications required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Cardiac catheterization experience preferred.
    • Comfort and flexibility floating to multiple units including CCU and ED.
