Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Float PCU setting, covering PCU Observation, Observation, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units as assigned
Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status in a progressive care environment
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Adhere to all facility dress code requirements, including navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days with no disciplinary actions
Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Ability to float and work across PCU Observation, Observation, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units
Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
