Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
- Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience required
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
- Facility does not accept background check hits or Nursys discrepancies
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a progressive care or stepdown environment
- Familiarity with compliance module completion processes in a travel assignment context
- Experience working within a large health system or multi-facility network
