Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, holistic, patient- and family-centered care that supports progress toward self-identified goals
- Perform the full nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — to deliver safe and therapeutic care
- Promote quality outcomes and maintain standards of safe, efficient clinical practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and seek additional resources when managing complex, new, unusual, or high-risk clinical situations
- Serve as a patient and family advocate to ensure excellent and satisfying care experiences
- Deliver direct and indirect care for an assigned group of patients using an individualized, age-specific approach
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- Current CPR certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience in an RN role
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a specialty area
- BSN or ADN required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
- Float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
