Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting within an acute care, academic teaching hospital environment
- Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements per facility guidelines
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
- Maintain compliance with all background check standards and facility credentialing requirements
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a medical PCU patient population
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions on record
- Minimum of 24 months PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months (required)
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency — candidates who are residents of Arizona are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments is strongly advantageous in securing placement
- Experience in a large, academic or teaching hospital environment
