Description

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures.
  • Prepare, monitor, and recover patients before and after procedures.
  • Administer medications and moderate sedation as ordered.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  • Assist physicians during IR procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
  • Perform patient assessments and document care accurately.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) RN experience.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification.
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification.
  • Ability to successfully pass the required Telemetry Competency Exam.
  • Documented professional development activities.
  • Strong critical care assessment and cardiac monitoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Charge Nurse experience.
  • Knowledge of Critical Paths.
