Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology in Tampa, FL

Interventional Radiology (IR) - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (10-hour or 12-hour shifts) | On-site | Includes 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and provide nursing care for interventional radiology procedures including tunneled line placements, nephrostomy tubes, and drain insertions
• Support biopsy, embolization, chest tube, and TIPS procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after interventional procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight and weekend call assignments
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary IR team to ensure safe and efficient patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with tunneled lines, nephrostomy tubes, embolizations, TIPS procedures, and chest tubes
• Comfort working in a high-acuity procedural setting with on-call responsibilities
