Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Austin, Texas, at a healthcare organization. This seasonal contract role involves working 12-hour shifts over a 13-week period, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in a high-volume Level IV labor and delivery unit. The position offers a dynamic environment with the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and a dedicated team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery; certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP; competencies in fetal monitoring, SVE, and C-Section circulation; reliable attendance.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Level IV high-volume unit; internal monitor placement competency; prior employment in similar hospital settings.
• Additional Information: The unit handles procedures such as spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. Scrubs must be solid blue, black, or grey; navy blue scrubs preferred. The team is comprised of experienced staff with a positive outlook, committed to delivering quality care using advanced equipment like Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US.
