Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, working nights at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to female patients of childbearing age, including pregnant women at 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and those undergoing scheduled procedures such as cesarean sections. The position requires supporting admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean. The nurse will utilize equipment such as fetal monitors and document using Cerner and Fetalink systems.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) & ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, and AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Additional Information: Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. The activities involve managing patient admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op procedures, and deliveries, along with operating fetal monitors and completing documentation via Cerner and Fetalink.
