Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee.

RN - Women's Services
Job Details:
• Full-time position requiring 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
• Work in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 9 beds, 1 OBED bed, 4 NICU beds, and 1 OR suite
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for active labors, inductions, and C-sections; couplet care 1:3; newborns 1:1 until stable; NICU 1:3 intermediate care with minimum of 2 NICU nurses required in unit at all times
• No unit secretaries or techs available on unit
• Perform daily rounding on all patients and SAFETY rounding
• Procedures performed on unit include C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries
• Must have labor and delivery experience including ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment
• Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies preferred
• Fetal monitoring education and experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil) required
• Float policy requires staff to float anywhere within the facility as needed; some staff are cross-trained to float between LDRP and NICU
• Equipment used includes CPN Central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot for neonatologist, bili-blankets, and PCA pumps
• Documentation systems used: Meditech and CPN
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training
• Dress code: Pink and/or brown scrubs required per infant security policy
Facility:
This facility is a Joint Commission certified medical center holding designations as a Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II NICU. The Women's Services unit is staffed by a highly experienced team, including several nurses with approximately 30 years of experience who serve as excellent resources and preceptors. The unit functions as a cohesive team and is committed to supporting new staff. As an LDRP unit, it offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience across labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care.
