GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period required
• No on-call requirements
• Self-scheduling available, working amongst team members
• Minimum 3 years of experience in High Risk OB required for nurses
• Current certification in Advanced EFM/AWHONN Intermediate EFM required
• Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS, AWHONN IFM, CPI
• Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 based on transition and acuity
• Work with equipment including Alaris Pumps and CADD epidural pumps
• EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech
• Perform procedures including C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries, scheduled and non-scheduled emergent C-Hysterectomy, and Massive Transfusion
• Experience with High Risk OB including Massive Transfusion preferred
• Experience with PASD (Placenta Accreta Spectrum Disorders) preferred
• CST candidates must wear sky blue scrubs
• Highly engaged, motivated, and positive personality preferred

Facility:

This facility features a Labor and Delivery unit with 12 LDR beds, 5 Antepartum beds, 4 OB?? beds, and 3 OR rooms. The unit is staffed by a dedicated team of 72 nursing, CST, and scheduling professionals and holds a Maternal Designation of Level III and Neonatal Level II. The facility is Joint Commission accredited in Women's services and operates as a Main ED Level II Trauma center serving obstetrical patients. The unit is known for its highly engaged staff, collaborative team environment, and strong physician-staff relationships, with management actively rounding on night and weekend shifts.
