Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery, located in Concord, New Hampshire. This role involves providing nursing care in a busy labor and delivery unit integrated with a special care nursery, supporting deliveries, neonatal stabilization, and postpartum care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 3-4 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in neonatal intensive care (NICU) or special care nursery (SCN), previous NICU or Level 2 SCN experience required, ability to assist in deliveries, start neonate IVs, manage babies on C-pap, tube feedings, and withdrawal management. Cerner experience preferred but not required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Postpartum nursing experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Additional Information: The unit operates an integrated labor, delivery, and neonatal care environment with an average census of 2-5 neonates. Staff are trained in postpartum and neonatal care, with responsibilities including attending deliveries in the OR, handling surfactant administration, and managing neonatal patients with various needs.
