This position involves providing high-risk perinatal care at a facility with comprehensive maternity services and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role requires delivering patient-centered obstetric and neonatal care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Job Details
Position Description: L&D RN at a healthcare facility specializing in high-risk perinatal care, with Level III designation and 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds. Responsible for managing labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patients, with a focus on high-risk cases and neonatal resuscitations.
Required Qualifications: Valid state license, minimum of 2 years of experience, certifications listed above, experience with charting systems (Epic required), and at least 1 year of related experience.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week.
Additional Information: Candidates should have experience in facilities handling over 100 deliveries; experience with high-risk obstetric and neonatal procedures is preferred. The role includes assisting with sterile speculum exams, sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring, and attending high-risk deliveries. Candidates must be flexible to work holidays and be available for orientation.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to questions regarding prior experience at a similar facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the past three years prior to start.
