Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery) – Texas

Start Date: September 29, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed), 8-week assignment. Weekend and rotating shift requirements; call responsibilities to be discussed during interview.

• High-risk, high-volume obstetrical unit specializing in labor and delivery care
• 24-bed unit with AWHONN-based staffing ratios maintained 80% of the time (ranging from 1:1 to 3:1 depending on patient acuity)
• GE fetal monitoring equipment; Meditech and CPN documentation systems
• Comprehensive care including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery
• Opportunity to float to antepartum unit within Women's services as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas (or eligible for licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery bedside experience required
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk obstetrical care, circulating in cesarean sections, and recovering high-acuity patients
• High-volume experience essential
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, acute care environment
