Job Summary
Join our dedicated Maternal-Child Health team as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children, and their families across the continuum of care, adhering to the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate patient care. This position requires collaboration with various professional disciplines, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and anesthesia teams, to ensure effective patient care delivery and optimal outcomes. Flexibility to care for GYN surgical and general post-operative patients is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children, and families throughout the woman's lifespan.
- Apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation) in accordance with AWHONN Standards for Professional Nursing Practice in the Care of Women and Newborns, 7th Edition (2009).
- Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesia, and other healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Interact professionally and effectively with patients and their significant others, maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing.
- Assist the obstetrician, pediatrician, anesthesia, and the healthcare team in tasks related to patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum nursing.
- Willingness to care for GYN surgical and general post-operative patients.

Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
