Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel contract position in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves working night shifts in a dynamic healthcare environment, coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the age and needs of the patient population served.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery- Obtain and record initial assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established time frames
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and modify care plans accordingly
- Participate in patient and significant other health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care
- Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from AHA required
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
