Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,411 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN (Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring) Must-Have: Cerner experience required Description: Candidates must live 50 miles away. Required to work 3 x 12-hour night shifts. Patient population includes females of childbearing years. Focus is on pregnant patients at 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and scheduled procedures. Procedures include C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage. Triage issues may also be addressed. Common activities in the unit include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section). Equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and documentation systems such as Cerner and Fetalink.
