Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,540 per week in Hackensack, NJ

**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery!** **Job Description:** - Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Labor and Delivery! - Evaluate patients and assist physicians in providing exceptional patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to individual patient needs. - Identify patient needs and establish priorities through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate personalized care plans for assigned patients based on ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physicians' medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to support optimal patient outcomes. - Manage patient care while ensuring adherence to standards of care and practice. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and encourage the adoption of innovative care delivery methods. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with our professional nursing practice model. - Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support our team and patients. **Skills Required:** - One (1)+ year of experience in a related specialty. - 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required. - 4+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred. **Required Hard Skills:** - Phlebotomy and IV insertion. - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM). - Vaginal exams. - Circulating in the OR for C-section deliveries. - Instrumental delivery assistance. **Education Requirements:** - Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). - Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: - BLS (AHA) - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). - Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). **Schedule Notes:** - Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Shift: Day Shift - Hours Per Week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - On-Call Requirement: No - Float Requirement: No **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
