Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,540 per week in Hackensack, NJ

**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!** **Job Description:** - As a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery department, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients and assisting physicians with high-quality patient care. - Key Responsibilities: - Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs. - Assess patient needs and prioritize care through a comprehensive approach that encompasses assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop and coordinate individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments focused on patient problems or needs, incorporating physician diagnoses and functional health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of patients effectively. - Document care in alignment with established standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice in patient care standards and encourage the adoption of innovative practices in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care that aligns with a professional nursing practice model. - Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned to enhance team effectiveness. - **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of one (1) year of experience in related specialty. - Over two (2) years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required; four (4) years preferred. - **Required Hard Skills:** - Proficient in phlebotomy and IV insertion. - Familiarity with EFM, vaginal exams, and assisting in OR for C-sections and instrumental deliveries. - **Education Requirements:** - Required: ASN. - Preferred: BSN. - **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: BLS-AHA, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, NRP. - Preferred: ACLS. - **Schedule:** - Shift: Night (2) - Hours per week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
