Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,615 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery RN (LDRP) – Alaska

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 13-week assignment; 2 weekends per schedule (variable based on staffing); 2 on-call shifts per four-week schedule

Highlights:

• 7-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit with Level II NICU and onsite pediatric hospitalists
• Patient ratio 1:3, variable by census and acuity; night shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 Scrub Tech
• Diverse case mix including inductions, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C, cerclage, versions, bilateral tubal ligations, triage, NST, OB injections, and OP infusions
• EMR systems: Epic and CPN Connect
• Equipment includes GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vacuum, and Koala IUPC
• May float to Mom-Baby unit as needed; hospital-provided royal blue scrubs

Requirements:

• Permanent Alaska RN license required for submission
• OR circulator experience (required)
• Labor and delivery experience (required)
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification, NRP, ACLS, and BLS (required)
• Preferred skills: ability to perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE; Stork Nurse experience and baby transition at delivery
• Flexible, cheerful, positive team player with strong accountability, adaptability, and mentoring abilities
