Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,632 per week in Fort Wayne, IN

Job Title: L&D RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact or state RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required Must-Have: 2+ years of circulating C-Sections required. 2+ years of previous Labor and Delivery experience required. Description: Care of the laboring patient. Nursing duties during vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Care of couplets. EPIC Stork documentation used for charting. Centricity fetal monitoring system is utilized. Pyxis medication system is in place. Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:1, possibly 1:2 for early labor or induction of labor, 1-3 for couplet care. Dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs. 12-hour shifts, requiring 3 out of 4 weekends. No call requirement. Traveler will float between facilities based on need. 16 labor and delivery rooms available, along with an additional 10 labor and delivery rooms. Orientation consists of 8 hours of non-billable time.
