Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,632 per week in Fort Wayne, IN

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Compact RN or IN state RN license required Certifications: BLS through AHA required ACLS through AHA required NRP required Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of circulating C-Sections experience required. Minimum 2 years of previous Labor and Delivery experience required. Description: Care of the laboring patient is the primary responsibility. Nursing duties during vaginal and cesarean deliveries will be required. Care of couplets will also be part of the job duties. Knowledge of computerized charting and medication systems is necessary. EPIC Stork documentation and Centricity fetal monitoring system will be utilized. Ability to work with the Pyxis medication system is required. Must be able to float between locations based on needs. The nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:1, possibly 1:2 for early labor or induction of labor. For couplet care, the ratio may be 1:3. Working weekends will be required, typically 3 out of 4 weekends. There is no call requirement for this position. The dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs.
