Proof of required certifications with submission.
Ability to pass clinical review.
Experience in high-risk environments.
Experience in circulating and providing newborn care including eye care and vitamin K injections.
Description:
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in high-risk, high-volume environments.
Experience in working with newborns, including assessments and the administration of required newborn care, is essential.
Must be able to float to postpartum and antepartum units and may be assigned to other facilities as needed.
The nurse will function in the role of a baby nurse during delivery and provide ongoing care until transfer to postpartum.
Daily patient load averages 15 patients.
The unit is equipped with 31 rooms and operates with four operating rooms.
Patient diagnoses include midwifery clients, private obstetricians, adult recovery services supporting substance recovery, and community care clinics.
Epic electronic fetal monitoring experience is required.
Nurses will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.
Staffing will align with established guidelines.
Pre-approved time off will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Flexible commitment is expected, including working weekends and holidays as needed.
Candidacy will be assessed based on experience, references, and certification compliance.
