Job Title: Registered Nurse

- Experience in circulating during deliveries and providing newborn care including assessments and injections.
- Ability to float to postpartum and antepartum as needed.
- Supervisory references required.
- Must pass a clinical review.
Description:
This position requires a registered nurse with significant experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
Candidates should be comfortable in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
Experience should include working with midwifery clients and supporting substance recovery services.
Daily census averages 15 patients, with approximately 500-600 deliveries each month.
Ability to circulate and provide care for newborns, including necessary assessments and injections, is critical.
Staffing follows established guidelines, ensuring best practices in patient care.
Candidates must also be prepared to work weekends and holidays as required.
Floating between facilities may be necessary based on patient care needs.
The role includes functioning as a baby nurse during deliveries and ongoing care of newborns until they are transferred to postpartum.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
Preference is given to candidates with advanced certifications and experience in high-risk scenarios.
