Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,276 per week in Issaquah, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid Compact License required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Travel experience required Previous charge experience preferred Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring patients during labor and delivery. Experience with low-risk antepartum and labor/delivery required. Must be able to manage high-risk deliveries and perform various special procedures. Skills in administering blood and blood products, along with anticoagulation therapy, are essential. Nurses will care for adolescents, infants, and adults. The nursing ratio is typically 1:1 to 1:3. Floating to post-partum and NICU may be necessary based on skill set. Must attend all deliveries and high-risk deliveries in addition to GYN surgeries. Special equipment use includes epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and wound vacs. Experience in patient education and care is important. The nurse will need to maintain central lines and manage maternal medications.
