Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
- Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR circulation
- Administer blood and blood products, and manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and drains
- Administer medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
- Start adult IVs and perform fetal heart monitoring
- Float to other units or sister facilities as needed based on staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
- Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
- Proficiency in OR circulation, fetal heart monitoring, and IV insertion
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in high-risk antepartum and high-risk Labor and Delivery settings
- Experience with couplet care and pre-op/post-op OB patients
