Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk perinatal care in a Level III unit with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and a 7-bay triage area
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in labor, 1:2–3 in antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support
• Float to postpartum as needed to support unit staffing needs
• Participate in triage care alongside a team of skilled RNs per shift
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) competency is required
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a facility handling 200 or more deliveries; candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will also be considered
• Familiarity with high-risk perinatal and antepartum patient populations
• Prior experience working in a Level II or Level III perinatal unit
